A23 Advisors: rapid growth, low overhead, happy women

This digital nomad and mompreneur-powered boutique consulting firm grew quickly. In simultaneous client-facing and firm leadership roles, I was responsible for crafting strategy, annual planning, competitive research, product innovation, content, inbound marketing, demand generation, web, social, influencer strategy, and digital PR for growth-stage startups and corporate innovation projects.

The A23 Advisors logo utilizes the Aspen tree, symbolizing communication and determination. Colors include orange to represent optimism and grey to signify balance.

A23 Advisors works with travel, hospitality, heaIth and lifestyle clients, so I expanded the palette in the logo to tell the stories about destinations and memorable experiences. I added two blues to the brand palette: a lighter blue representing strength and trust, which is used in hyperlinks and linked typeface, and an aquamarine tone to evoke the theme of the beach, closely tied to travel, which is presented in the photography used.

A23Advisors.com is a responsive, content-rich, news-driven website that serves as A23 Advisor's digital footprint, while providing backlinks and reach to client sites. It’s a collection of mini-stories and micro blogs designed to deliver concise messages and targeted information at a glance.

I designed, developed, authored and curated 100% of the site, built on the Squarespace platform, and it’s creatively integrated with MailChimp, G-Suite and A23 Advisors’ social media channels.

Educational lead generation campaigns are important for attracting new customers, and the 7 Day Plan to Power Up Your Influencer Marketing nurturing program is no exception. When actively marketed, this crash course delivered conversion from 15% to 30%. Thus campaign also helped educate clients on a critical marketing trend that might work well for their business.

Building a sticky digital experience that showcases knowledge and expertise relies on valuable content. My goal in creating “Steal This'“ assets was to bring value to prospective clients from the very first interaction with A23 Advisors. There’s no shortage of creativity and brain-power at the firm, and our “free” content serves an an introdcutory taste of what the advisors are capable of.

Before a marketing asset is created for A23 Advisors, the forecast result must justify the effort and expense to create it. With consistent email open rates of 50% to 75%, I challenged myself to increase not only click-through, but time on destination page. Pictured above is the format that generated 45% CTR and an initial increase of 30 seconds in average time on page, site-wide. Subsequent blasts have resulted in a 10-second increase in time on page, per send.
